The Associated Press: Take-Two's 'Grand Theft Auto IV' tops $500M in week 1 sales

The people who worked on this game should be proud. Those are some very impressive returns on their work and investment. Yes, they should be proud. If only they didn’t make a complete piece of trash!

Don’t get me wrong - I love videogames and I think people should be able to make whatever crazy games they think will sell. On that same note, people should be allowed to buy whatever games they want. But the content is pretty disgusting in an already disgusting world. And if I hear one more story about a mother who unwittingly purchased this game for her 13-year-old boy who’s now turned violent and has a liking for hookers (puh-lease - yeah, the game made him that way), I’m gonna puke.

About:

The blog name "Being Chung Nguyen" is inspired by the film (yes, that film). I guess it's a cash-free way for you to take a look at my super-chaotic and oftentimes random life and mind. Enjoy. And use a coaster, please.

If you're still in need of more blog-stimulation, please visit my photography ("work") blog.

Rock on and all that cliched stuff.
